Question 1

Can I add a pool to a home in Avondale at Avenir?

Accepted Answer

Many homeowners can, but it depends on your lot, setbacks, easements and your community's rules. We check these during a free in-home consultation and tell you plainly what's feasible before you commit to anything. Review your own community documents too, since architectural approval is often required.

Question 2

What is a sun shelf and why do families like it?

Accepted Answer

A sun shelf is a shallow, flat ledge built into the pool, usually just inches deep. Toddlers can play in the shallows while an adult stays close, parents can sit with their feet in the water, and loungers fit right in. Families love it for everyday use.

Question 3

Is artificial turf a good choice around a pool in Palm Beach Gardens, FL?

Accepted Answer

It can be. Turf gives kids and pets a soft, mud-free play area that drains after heavy summer rain. It does get warm in direct sun, so we plan shade and placement, and we prepare a proper base so it stays flat and drains well.

Question 4

What pool safety features should I plan for?

Accepted Answer

Florida has pool safety requirements, and the right mix depends on your home and family. Options include barriers or fencing, self-closing and self-latching gates, door alarms and anti-entrapment drain covers. We explain what applies at your address and design them in from the start.

Question 5

Is Cliff's connected to Avondale at Avenir?

Accepted Answer

No. Cliff's Pools & Patios is an independent, family-owned contractor and is not affiliated with Avondale at Avenir or its association. We serve homeowners throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties, and we'll prepare the materials your community's review process asks for.
